i know pretty much nothing about coding, and JUST made this site as of july 8th, 2025. from what i've read on other people's sites, a desire to learn to code came before a desire to make a neocities, but it's the opposite for me. whatever appears here will be whatever i just learned that day, probably.
not sure why i feel the need to write down my whole life story here lol but from ages 13-18 i had a tumblr blog i was very attached to of which i just deleted recently. it was because i kept posting and then genuinely getting upset that i wouldn't get notes, despite having 300 or so mutuals. i've always been someone who really worries about what others think of me. i don't think it's healthy for me to be super active on social media. it's one of those things where it's technically possible to build a strong social life online, it's technically possible to become well-liked and validated by online engagement, but it's also probably not going to happen. it's possible that you'll hit the jackpot gambling, but likely you won't. i like the idea of a neocities because there is no posting, and this isn't even really a social platform.
as for my interests, i of course do a lot of game playing, book reading, movie watching, music listening etc.. no judgment from me, but i try to avoid listing just media consumption as my interests. isn't everyone interested in consuming media? not really a unique characteristic. i also like hiking, camping, writing, organizing my room and my online presence, and buying CDs. lately, i'm going through a massive dakota johnson phase (where do you think my alias came from?? lol) even though i'm usually not very interested in celebrities.
